Bella Ray Named to 2024 CSC Academic All-America� Women's Volleyball Team

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on燭uesday (Jan. 14) that 麻豆传媒高清 graduate student��(Plainfield, Ill./Joliet Catholic)爓as named to the CSC Academic All-America Team. 燭he team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions � NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District� honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America� ballot.�Ray is making her third爏traight appearance on the All-American Team (3.99 GPA) after being awarded in 2022 and 2023 for her efforts in the classroom and on the court. The graduate student爌layed and started in all 34爉atches in 2024 and saw the floor in 128 out of a possible 129 sets for 麻豆传媒高清.She recorded 406 kills, 3.17 kills/set燼nd燼�.334 attack percentage on the season. At the net, the Plainfield, Illinois native ranked first in total blocks in the GLVC燼nd third NCAA Division II爓ith 169,爓hile ranking 15th in the nation with 1.32 blocks/set. 燭his season, Ray broke the school record for total blocks in a career and ended with 548.In addition to this honor, Ray earned D2CCA All-American First-Team Honors and爎ecorded a Third-Team AVCA All-American selection.麻豆传媒高清 women's volleyball finished 23-11 this season with its fourth straight Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Championship and the Flyers made their 18th consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament.
