Woodrow Wilson, WWI Lecture Series is in September / October

Lecture Series to Accompany Woodrow Wilson and the Great War Exhibit at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University

The traveling “pop-up” exhibit, "Woodrow Wilson and the Great War," comes to Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University September 19-October 2. Located in the Brent and Jean Wadsworth Gallery, the exhibit examines the presidency of Woodrow Wilson and marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

Four public programs accompany the exhibit each 2 p.m.

• Wednesday, September 19: Gallery Talk by Lance Tawzer, Naper Settlement, and Kole Torres, Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University, reception with refreshments to follow the talk until 6 p.m. in the Wadsworth Gallery

• Thursday, September 20: Woodrow Wilson on the Domestic Front by Br. John Vietoris, Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University, in AS 158.

• Tuesday, September 25: Race and Women: Wilson and WWI by Kristi Kelly, Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University, in AS 158.

• Tuesday, October 2: Dennis Cremin, Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University, will present The War to End All Wars in AS 158.

The exhibit will next pop-up October 4-November 2 at Woodrow Wilson House, Washington, DC and November 8-December 22 at the Historical Society of Princeton.

The exhibit is the result of a partnership between Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University, Naper Settlement, and Give Back. The events are part of Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå University’s Arts & Ideas Program, providing cultural and educational programming for students and the community.
